This development of 9 identical houses for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office was for staff at the British High Commission in Karachi, Pakistan.
The houses are all self contained in two terraces set in landscaped gardens and are designed to admit as much natural light as possible but a minimum of heat, due to the high summer temperatures. Each house has a small private courtyard at the rear and is fully air conditioned.
